We booked a table in advance for breakfast, and on arrival we only had to wait for a couple of minutes until we were seated, we could see staff serving other customers, so this was fine. It's a lovely restaurant which is really bright and comfortable, a very nice atmosphere. Our drinks and food orders were taken not long after sitting down, and drinks bought out to us within 5 minutes. We only had a 20 minute wait for food, which is perfect. I would expect it to be longer on a busier day (but where wouldn't be?!) The Big Greenhouse Breakfast was lovely, everything fresh and cooked to perfection, and I could also swap toast for fried bread which was great. The coffees and lattes were excellent too. My Wife had the pancakes which were delicious too. All in all everything was just great. Friendly staff who were more than happy to help. The refurb makes it so much nicer in there, better toilets, more space and still the same fantastic food. We were a little dubious after some reviews, but we were very glad we went. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Booked for the late night steak night with family and what a fantastic meal it was. Delicious food from beginning to end. We all had 3 courses and each was cooked perfectly and the homemade elements enhanced the food greatly The restaurant itself is (newly) beautifully decorated and comfortable with a bar. The quality of the restaurant shines through in every aspect. The service was warm, friendly and prompt and prices were great especially considering the quality. A brilliant first experience at The Greenhouse and will definitely be back!

Directed to table on arrival by friendly member of staff, we opted for the pre-booked afternoon tea & this did not disappoint, a good mixture of savoury &!sweet with warm scotch eggs, sausage plait & scones. Absolutely delicious

***UPDATE*** 12/10/2023 - The coffee was really nice, I asked for a half-shot and got exactly that. The chunky chips were very tasty, and the sausage roll was again fantastic; the onion chutney dip is out of this world. The staff all seem efficient and very attentive. We had nice banter with the lady who greeted us and sat us down, if you’re reading this I’d appreciate a ‘thumbs-up’ or a nice comment, ha ha - See you again soon :) Date of 1st visit: 18/06/2023 - No problems, service was fine, coffee was nice and the onion chutney dip that accompanies the sausage roll was excellent ! Myself and my wife will be back soon :)

Absolutely fantastic venue! Beautifully finished rooms and areas throughout, which are immaculately maintained. Enthusiastic, joyous and personable staff who all work really well together, serving incredible food. The burger is one of the best burgers around. Fresh and homemade, with a lovely rustic feel to it. Even the crockery is well thought out. Compliments to the managerial team for every effort. Can't wait to go back for more live music and quality food!

Very nice French evening , Friday April 25th. The Greenhouse has definitely impressed us this time. The staff were fantastic, so much better service . They greeted us, spoke to us, took our food and drink orders. Checked on us throughout the evening. Really excellent service. Food was great too . Quite a lot to choose from on the menu. The chefs must of worked hard to prepare and create high standard, and varied dishes. The food came out well presented , smelling fantastic and mouthwateringly good. We were also able to try something new for free........frogs legs and snails....for the French evening. We were a party of 4 adults ,we sat in a booth style seat as we prefer this to an open seating area.

Came here with my boy, sister and nephews for the meet the characters. It was Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol and they were great, so much interaction with the kids. Would definitely recommend the restaurant too, such friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely come again!

Husband and I had Afternoon Tea today, absolutely delicious, Variety of Sandwiches, Savoury Pastries, Yummy desserts. Definitely have again. Highly recommend
